The CC Kruzzers Car Club will hold its 5th Annual Spring Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show on Saturday (5/7/16) near the Depot Museum in downtown Morrilton. Entry fee is $25 for the first car with a multi-car discount. All proceeds go to The Safe Place domestic violence shelter in Morrilton. The Morrilton Junior High School seventh grade dance team will hold a car wash fundraiser on Saturday (5/7/16) starting at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the NAPA Speights Auto Parts store across from Walmart in Morrilton. The team will be taking donations during the event.
BEAN SUPPER (5/7/16)
The Plumerville Homecoming Committee is sponsoring its annual bean supper on Saturday (5/7/16) from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Plumerville Senior Center east of the Arch Ford Co-Op. The menu includes pinto and white beans, home fried potatoes, slaw, cornbread, dessert and drink.

MONTE CARLO NIGHT (5/7/16)
The Morrilton Knights of Columbus will host a Monte Carlo Night fundraiser on Saturday (5/7/16) at 7:00 p.m. at the KC Hall in Morrilton. The cost is $12.50 per person. Bottomless cups will be sold for $10, and the snack bar will be open. Tickets won by players will be used to enter prize drawings at the end of the night. All proceeds will go toward the Council's Seminarian Support program.

The Conway County Library will host a "Cars of the Fifties" program at its monthly Lunch and Learn on Wednesday (5/11/16) at noon. The guest speaker will be Buddy Hoelzeman from the Museum of Automobiles. The museum will also present a model car kit as the monthly gift basket drawing. Light refreshments will be served at the event.

A dedication ceremony for a Civil War marker to be placed at Lewisburg Cemetery in Morrilton will be held Sunday (5/15/16) at 3:00 p.m. at the Conway County Library.
HEALTH EXPO (5/18/16)
The River Valley Senior Networking Group will host the annual River Valley Health Expo on Wednesday (5/18/16) at the Hughes Community Center in Russellville. Free cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and depression screenings will be provided, along with vision screenings. The event is open to all ages.
