AMATEUR RADIO TRAINING (3/24/18)
Brookridge Cove Rehabilitation and Care Center in Morrilton will offer amateur radio training beginning Saturday (3/24/18) at 10:00 a.m. Classes will continue each Saturday through April 21st. There is no charge for the class, but there is a $15 fee to take the FCC exam. For more information, call Jim Taylor at 501-940-1182.
BARNYARD BONANZA (3/24/18)
Heifer Ranch in Perryville will host a barnyard bonanza for Spring Break from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. each day through Saturday (3/24/18). There will be tractor wagon rides, photos with animals and many other activities for all ages.
MUNCHIN ON MAIN STREET (3/24/18)
Main Street Morrilton presents the Second Annual Munchin' On Main Street festival on Saturday (3/24/18) on Railroad Avenue in downtown Morrilton. Beginning at 11:00 a.m., food trucks, vendor booths, and children’s activities will be open to the public. Live music will also begin at 11:00 on the Wayne Smith Trucking stage, and the beer garden will open. Other activities include a pie baking contest and a pop-up city market.
CHURCH REVIVAL (3/25/18-3/29/18)
Riverview Baptist Church at Oppelo will hold revival services Sunday (3/25/18) through Thursday (3/29/18). The Sunday morning service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Sunday evening service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Brother David Winston. Services Monday through Thursday will start at 7:00 p.m. Speakers will be Brother Cleo Young on Monday, Brother Butch Lawrence on Tuesday, Brother Josh Young on Wednesday and Brother Larry Black on Thursday.
HOSPITAL BOARD MEETING (3/26/18)
A meeting of the county board of CHI St. Vincent Morrilton will be held Monday (3/26/18) at noon at the Hickey Outpatient Clinic Building.
CONWAY COUNTY QUORUM COURT (3/26/18)
The Conway County Quorum Court will meet Monday (3/26/18) at 6:00 p.m. at the courthouse in Morrilton. A joint meeting of the Budget & Finance and Personnel & Governmental committees will be held prior to the meeting at 5:30.
POT ROAST DINNER (3/26/18)
The Morrilton First Assembly of God will offer a pot roast dinner free to the community on Monday (3/26/18) at 6:00 p.m.
AUDUBON SOCIETY (3/26/18)
The Arkansas River Valley Audubon Society will meet Monday (3/26/18) at 7:00 p.m. in the Stables Classroom at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain. The program will be presented by Don Higgins on "The Nature of Petit Jean Mountain Rock Art." Refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome.

The Perry County Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will meet Tuesday (3/27/18) at noon at the Max Milam Library in Perryville.
DONNA TERRELL PRESENTATION (3/27/18)
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton invites all current students and members of the public to attend a special guest presentation by FOX 16 news anchor Donna Terrell on Tuesday (3/17/18) at 12:15 p.m. inside the UACCM Student Union. The free event is being held in celebration of Women's History Month. Light refreshments will be served.
BUSINESS AFTER HOURS (3/27/18)
Moore and Company Realtors in Morrilton is hosting a Business After Hours event with a grand opening and open house on Tuesday (3/27/18) from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30, and snacks and refreshments will be provided.
MPS KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION (3/29/18)
Morrilton Primary School will hold Kindergarten pre-registration for the 2018-19 school year on Thursday (3/29/18) from 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. You must bring the child's birth certificate, social security care, immunization information, physical assessment and proof of residency. A child must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2018 to be eligible to enroll in Kindergarten.

The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary is holding an East bake sale and a crazy quilt drawing on Friday (3/30/18) starting at 7:00 a.m. in the hospital dining room.

The Max Milam Library in Perryville will host a dedication and planting of a World War I Memorial Tree on Saturday (3/31/18) at 2:00 p.m.

Big Cuppa in downtown Morrilton presents Family Karaoke hosted by Jazz on Friday (4/6/18) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Ten percent of proceeds will benefit Room 29:11
CRAFT PROGRAM (4/7/18)
The Conway County Library in Morrilton will host a special spring craft program on Saturday (4/7/18) at 10:00 a.m.
SPAGHETTI DINNER (4/7/18)
The Bigelow Fire Department is having a spaghetti dinner at the Bigelow Civic Center on Saturday (4/7/18) starting at 2:00 p.m. To-go plates are also available. The cost is a donation to the fire department. Proceeds will be used for equipment upgrades and truck upkeep.
UACCM BOARD OF VISITORS (4/10/18)
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Board of Visitors will meet Tuesday (4/10/18) at 12:00 p.m. in the Tyson Training Hall of the Workforce Training Center.
CEREAL DRIVE (4/14/18)
The Conway County Care Center is sponsoring a cereal drive on Saturday (4/14/18) from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the Care Center Thrift Store in downtown Morrilton or at Kroger in Morrilton.
BIRD FRIENDLY YARD PROGRAM (4/20/18)
The GFWC Pathfinder Club of Morrilton is sponsoring a Bird Friendly Yard Program presented by Pam and Jack Stewart of the Arkansas Audubon Society on Friday (4/20/18) at 1:00 p.m. at the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce. The presentation is free to the public.
5K RUN/WALK (4/21/18)
My Sister's Keyper presents Race for Life, a 5K run/walk to raise awareness and funds for the social service side of breast cancer, on Saturday (4/21/18), starting at 8:00 a.m. at Morrilton City Park. Registration is $25 and can be completed at www.eventbrite.com. A community health and family fun expo will follow the race from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the park. That event will feature various health screenings and information and several games and activities for the entire family.
