MURDER MYSTERY THEATER (10/21/16-10/22/16)
The Rialto Community Arts Center in downtown Morrilton will present a murder mystery dinner theater, Thirst for Blood, on Friday (10/21/16) and Saturday (10/22/16). HAUNTED HOUSE (10/21/16-10/22/16)
The 2016 Haunted House hosted by the Hubbard Family will be open Friday (10/21/16) and Saturday (10/22/16) at 7:00 p.m. at 309 E. Broadway behind Tobacco Corner Plus. Proceeds benefit medical expenses for Jimmy Harris.
The Conway County Library will host its third annual Oktoberfest on Saturday (10/22/16) from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There will be a sampling of free brats, hot dogs and non-alcoholic, imported beers. Everyone is welcome.
CHURCH REVIVAL (10/23/16-10/26/16)
Portland Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville will hold revival services Sunday (10/23/16) through Wednesday (10/26/16). Sunday services begin with Sunday School at 10:00 a.m., followed by the 10:45 worship service and a 5:00 p.m. evening service. Services Monday through Wednesday will be at 7:00 each night. The evangelist will be Cecil Fayard, a ship-to-store international minister from Mississippi.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY (10/23/16)
The Friends of the Conway County Library will hold their annual meeting at the library at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (10/23/16). The featured guest speaker is Arkansas author Tayla Tate Boerner, who will be discussing her new book, "The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee."

The Jerusalem Church of Christ is hosting The Visualized Bible Study starting at 7:00 p.m. each Sunday from October 23rd through November 20th. Everyone is welcome.
UACCM PAGEANT REGISTRATION (10/24/16)
Monday (10/24/16) is the pre-registration deadline for the tenth annual UACCM Pageant to be held November 5th. The pageant is open to current UACCM students, as well as girls from birth to 17 years of age. The final registration deadline is Monday, October 31st. Conway County's annual fall clean-up takes place the week of October 24-29. Morrilton residents can call 354-5299 on Monday or Tuesday for pick-up on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Oppelo residents can call 354-2454 on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for pick-up on Thursday and Friday. Plumerville residents can call 354-2015 on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for pick-up on Thursday and Friday. Menifee residents can call 354-0898 or Thursday or Friday for pick-up on Saturday. Elderly or disabled residents of unincorporated communities can call 354-9640 on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Fire station drop-off and residential pick-up in the unincorporated communities will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Morrilton Landfill will be open from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday for free dumping for all county residents.
EARLY VOTING (10/24/16)
Early voting for the November 8th general election begins Monday (10/24/16) and continues through November 7th. Hours will be 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. weekdays and 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Early voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7th. In Conway County, early voting will take place on the fourth floor of the courthouse in Morrilton. In Perry County, early voting will take place at the Diane Wilson Senior Adult Center in Perryville.
QUORUM COURT (10/24/16)
The Conway County Quorum Court will meet Monday (10/24/16) at 6:00 p.m. at the courthouse in Morrilton. That meeting will be followed by a meeting of the Budget and Finance Committee to discuss the 2017 budget.
AUDUBON SOCIETY (10/24/16)
The Arkansas River Valley Audubon Society will meet Monday (10/24/16) at 7:00 p.m. in Room 110 of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Life Sciences at Hendrix College in Conway. Guest speaker will be Leslie Patrick, an outreach specialist with the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, who will share findings about Arkansas' woodpeckers and conservation efforts to protect them. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome to attend.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION (10/25/16)
ARVAC will hold a food distribution for eligible households in Conway County on Tuesday (10/25/16) from 9:00 a.m.-noon at the National Guard Armory in Morrilton. You must provide proof of identification, household income, Social Security numbers for all members of the household and a current ARVAC-issued blue card if available.

Conway County 4-H will hold its annual awards banquet on Tuesday (10/25/16) at 6:00 p.m. in the Downtown Church of Christ Family Life Center in Morrilton.

The Chldren's Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Morrilton is hosting a community-wide Trunk-or-Treat event on Wednesday (10/26/16) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the church parking lot. Hot dogs, drinks and cupcakes will be served. Kids may wear costumes and will need to bring a bag for their treats.

The annual Springfield Turkey Shoot hosted by the Springfield Community Club will take place Saturday (10/29/16) starting at 8:00 a.m. at the old Springfield Schoolhouse on Highway 92. All proceeds benefit the Springfield Schoolhouse Building Fund.
HARVEST OF HOPE (10/29/16)
The Conway County Care Center will wrap up its annual Harvest of Hope food drive on Saturday (10/29/16). Donations will be collected at the "Fill the Truck" event from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Haynes Home Center in Morrilton. The Gospel singing fundraiser will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Rialto Theatre in downtown Morrilton. Admission is $5 or five cans of food for adults and $3 or three cans of food for children.

The Oppelo Church of Christ will host its Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday (10/29/16) beginning at 4:00 p.m. The event includes games, food and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.

The Conway County Foster Care Coalition is sponsoring a chili cookoff on Saturday (11/5/16) and is looking for participants to represent local businesses, civic groups and churches. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. at Morrilton City Park with guest speaker Dawn Scott from THV 11. The Hattieville Community Center will host a fundraising barbeque lunch on Saturday (11/5/16) from 10:30 a.m-3:00 p.m. Meals are $8 and the event also includes a pie auction and live music.
VETERANS PARADE (11/5/16)
The 10th Annual Veterans Parade and Celebration in Plumeville will take place Saturday (11/5/16) in and around the Plumerville City Park and Community Room.
