EARLY VOTING (THRU 5/21/18)
Early voting for the May 22nd election is underway. Hours are 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. through Friday (5/18/18), 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday (5/19/18), and 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Monday (5/21/18). Early voting in Conway County is in the fourth floor courtroom at the courthouse in Morrilton. Early voting in Perry County is at the Diane Wilson Senior Adult Center in Perryville.

PICKLEFEST (5/18/18-5/19/18)
People for a Better Atkins will host the Picklefest 2018 on Friday (5/18/18) and Saturday (5/19/18) in downtown Atkins. Activities include live entertainment and food and craft vendors both days; a rodeo both nights; and a tractor show, horseshoe pitching, talent show, petting zoo, the Picklefest Parade, and a pickle eating/juice drinking contest on Saturday. GO GRAY IN MAY 5K (5/19/18)
The 2nd Annual Go Gray in May 5K will take place Saturday (5/19/18) starting at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Downtown Church of Christ in Morrilton. Registration is $35 for adults and $30 for kids with a virtual runner option available. Registration can be completed at www.runsignup.com. Proceeds support brain cancer research and care in Arkansas.

JERUSALEM HOMECOMING (5/19/18)
The annual Homecoming at Jerusalem will be Saturday (5/19/18) at the Jerusalem Community Center. The building will be open at 2:00 p.m. There will be a potluck meal at 5:30 p.m. and entertainment, featuring Marion & Louise Henderson and Steve Thompson & Friends, will start at 6:30. Everyone is welcome.

SPAGHETTI DINNER (5/19/18)
The Wonderview senior girls' basketball team is hosting a spaghetti dinner on Saturday (5/19/18) from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the St. Mary Parish Hall at St. Vincent. Meals are $10 each with dine-in or carryout available.

CENTER RIDGE MASONIC LODGE (5/19/18)
The Center Ridge Lodge of Free Masons will meet Saturday (5/19/18) at 7:00 p.m.

CEDAR CREEK CEMETERY DECORATION (5/20/18)
Decoration for the Cedar Creek Cemetery near Jerusalem will be held Sunday (5/20/18).

LANTY CEMETERY DECORATION (5/20/18)
Decoration services for all four cemeteries in the Lanty Community - Adams, Bizzell, McClaren and Lanty Cemeteries - will be held Sunday (5/20/18). A gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Lanty Community Center with congregational singing, followed by a potluck lunch and a short business meeting.

MT. PLEASANT CEMETERY DECORATION (5/20/18)
A decoration service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the Hillcreek Community on Sunday (5/20/18) at 2:00 p.m.

ST. BONIFACE BAZAAR (5/20/18)
St. Boniface Catholic Church at New Dixie is holding its annual bazaar on Sunday (5/20/18) from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. An all-you-can-eat barbeque and chicken meal will be served for $12 for adults and $6 for kids age 6-12. There will also be a silent auction, Bingo, a ham & bacon stand, country store, horse rides for the kids, other games for all ages, and a raffle for various cash prizes. The church is located on Hwy 60 west of Toad Suck.

WASTEWATER UTILITY COMMISSION (5/21/18)
The Morrilton Wastewater Utility Commission will meet Monday (5/21/18) at 5:00 p.m. in the Wastewater Meeting Building on Chestnut Street.

ATKINS SCHOOL BOARD (5/21/18)
The Atkins School Board will meet in the district administration office on Monday (5/21/18) at 5:30 p.m. for a student discipline hearing and personnel.

CONWAY COUNTY QUORUM COURT (5/21/18)
The Conway County Quorum Court will meet Monday (5/21/18) at 6:00 p.m. at the courthouse in Morrilton. The Personnel & Governmental Committee will meet at 5:00.

ELECTION DAY (5/22/18)
Tuesday (5/22/18) is Election Day for the preferential primary, nonpartisan judicial general and annual school elections. All polling sites will be open from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

PERRY COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (5/22/18)
The Perry County Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday (5/22/18) at 1:00 p.m. at the Max Milam Library in Perryville.

MEMORIAL DAY DRAWING (5/24/18)
The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary is holding a drawing for a Memorial Day gift basket on Thursday (5/24/18). Tickets are $1 each of 6 for $5 and are available at the hospital front desk, gift shop, from any Auxiliary member or by calling 977-2454. All proceeds support the project for the front entrance of the hospital.

LADIES DAY (5/26/18)
The Plumerville Church of Christ will host Ladies' Day on Saturday (5/26/18) at 4:00 p.m. The theme is "If We Miss Heaven, We've Missed It All."

BINGO CANCELLED (5/28/18)
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the Morrilton Knights of Columbus will not hold its weekly Bingo on Monday (5/28/18).

BUSINESS EXPO (5/31/18)
The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual Business Expo on Thursday (5/31/18) from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Morrilton High School's Devil Dog Arena. Admission is free and all attendees will be entered to win door prizes. Lunch will be available for purchase from Road Hog BBQ.

JEHOVAH'S WITNESS CONVENTION (6/1/18)
The annual Jehovah's Witness Convention starts Friday (6/1/18) in Little Rock. The theme is "Be Courageous!" For more information locally, call Jim Webber at 208-3681.

SACRED HEART BAZAAR (6/1/18-6/2/18)
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Morrilton will hold its annual bazaar on Friday (6/1/18) and Saturday (6/2/18) on the school grounds. Concessions, a silent auction and games for all ages including Bingo and a kiddie land will be available both nights. An all-you-can-eat spaghetti & sausage and turkey & dressing dinner will be served in the school gym on Saturday from 5:00-7:30 p.m. for $15 for adults, $7 for children age 4-12 and free for kids age 3 and under. Take-outs are available from 4:00-6:30 by calling 354-8113. A raffle drawing will be held Saturday night for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler and several other prizes. LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM (6/2/18)
The Conway County Library will kickoff its summer reading program for kids on Saturday (6/2/18) at 11:00 a.m.
