Due to a leak in the water system, the City of Plumerville is under a boil order until further notice. Water must be brought to a rolling boil before being used for cooking or drinking.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Monday (11/30/15) from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Walmart in Morrilton.

The American Red Cross will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday (12/1/15) from 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Perryville First United Methodist Church.
RELAY FOR LIFE MEETING (12/1/15)
A kickoff meeting for the 2016 Relay for Life will be held Tuesday (12/1/15) at 5:30 p.m. at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Morrilton. Anyone interested in helping with the event is encouraged to attend.
CHRISTMAS PARADE REGISTRATION (12/1/15)
Entry forms for the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, sponsored by CHI St. Vincent Morrilton and Arkansas Kraft Green Bay Packaging, are due by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday (12/1/15) to Rhonda Trowbridge at American Realty or email Rhonda.firstname.lastname@example.org. The parade will take place Thursday (12/3/15) at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Morrilton.
ABATE 17 MEETING (12/1/15)
ABATE 17 will meet Tuesday (12/1/15) at 6:00 p.m. at Smitty's Bar-B-Q in Conway. All riders and motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome.
ARCHEOLOGICAL SOCIETY (12/1/15)
The Arkansas River Valley Chapter of the Arkansas Archeological Society will meet Tuesday (12/1/15) at 7:00 p.m. in the Doc Bryant Room 105 at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. The meeting will feature a presentation by Adam Wiewel entitled "Remote Sensing Investigations of Archeological Sites and Landscapes along the Missouri River in the Dakotas." The meeting is open to the public.
SENIOR CITIZEN POTLUCK (12/2/15)
The Plumerville Area Senior Citizen Potluck Luncheon will be held Wednesday (12/2/15) in the W.C. Plummer Senior Center. All area senior citizens are invited. Group singing will follow the meal.

The 2016 Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade sponsored by CHI St. Vincent Morrilton and Arkansas Kraft Green Bay Packaging will be held Thursday (12/3/15), starting at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Morrilton.
NIGHT OF LUMINARIES (12/3/15)
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will hold its annual Night of Luminaries on Thursday (12/3/15) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Courtyard. The walking trail will be lined with luminary bags decorated by students from Conway County, refreshments will be served, toy bags will be distributed and Santa will make an appearance.
BAKE SALE (12/5/15)
Morrilton High School's Morrilton Melodies Ensemble Choir will hold a bake sale on Saturday (12/5/15) from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Bobby's Dogs located next to NAPA Auto Parts across from Walmart in Morrilton.
HOLIDAY FROM THE HEART (12/6/15)
The Sacred Heart Catholic School PTO will host its fifth annual Holiday from the Heart hometown shopping extravaganza on Sunday (12/6/15) from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the school gym. A homemade chili and cinnamon roll lunch will be served with a silent auction and bake sale. Local retail and home based businesses will be set up selling their products. CHRISTMAS BASKET DRAWING (12/22/15)
The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary is holding a drawing for a Christmas basket and a crocheted afghan and Petit Jean Meats gift box on Tuesday (12/22/15) Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased from any Auxiliary member or at the hospital gift shop. Proceeds will be used for a canopy for the front entrance of the hospital.
