WRESTLING CANCELLED (TFN)
Due to light ticket sales, the 247 Wrestling Network event originally planned for Morrilton High School's Devil Dog Arena for November 23rd has been cancelled. All who purchased tickets have been personally contacted by 247 Wrestling Network and complete refunds are being processed immediately. Company officials haven't announced if they will try to bring a similar event to Morrilton in the future, but said they would look at the area in 2020.

THANKSGIVING PIE SALE (THRU 11/25/19)
The Conway County Hilltoppers Club is taking orders for pies for Thanksgiving to raise money for medical expenses for Sister Gaynelle McNew. Pecan pies are $17. Chocolate, coconut cream and pumpkin pies are $15 each. To place an order, call Cathy at 208-3896 or contact any club member.

​LIVE FREE FOR A MONTH (THRU 12/8/19)
Knights of Columbus Council 5209 in Morrilton is holding a raffle to raise funds to upgrade the kitchen at their hall. Tickets are $20 each for the raffle called "Live Free for a Month." For one lucky winner, the Council will pay their rent or mortgage up to $1,500; electricity bill up to $300; natural gas bill up to $100; water bill up to $100; cell phone bill up to $250; cable or satellite bill up to $200; home and auto insurance premiums up to $300; medical insurance premium up to $750; car payment up to $500; and the cost of groceries and dining up to $1,000. The drawing will be held December 8, 2019. For tickets, contact any Knight or call Rich Moellers at 208-2503.

BLOOD DRIVE (11/18/19)
Morrilton Knights of Columbus Council 5209 will sponsor an Arkansas Blood Institute blood drive on Monday (11/18/19) from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Morrilton Community Center.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY MEETING (11/18/19)
The Democratic Party of Conway County will meet Monday (11/18/19) at 5:30 p.m. at the Morrilton Wastewater meeting room at 215 North Chestnut.

MORRILTON CITY COUNCIL (11/18/19)
The Morrilton City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday (11/18/19) at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.

BAKE SALE & DESSERT AUCTION (11/19/19)
The Conway & Perry Counties Realtors Association will hold its annual bake sale and dessert auction to benefit the Morrilton and Perryville Senior Center and Meals on Wheels on Tuesday (11/19/19) from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the T.C. Vaughan Senior Adult Center in Morrilton.

MHRC BOARD (11/19/19)
The Board of the Morrilton Human Relations Council will meet Tuesday (11/19/19) at 5:00 p.m.

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION (11/19/19)
The Morrilton Parks and Recreation Commission will meet Tuesday (11/19/19) at 5:00 p.m. at Morrilton Community Center.

PLUMERVILLE CITY COUNCIL (11/19/19)
The Plumerville City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday (11/19/19) at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room.

WONDERVIEW SCHOOL BOARD (11/20/19)
The Wonderview School Board will meet Wednesday (11/20/19) at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room.

NAACP (11/21/19)
The Conway County branch NAACP will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday (11/21/19) at 6:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Education Complex in Plumerville.

PLUMERVILLE MASONIC LODGE (11/21/19)
The Plumerville Lodge of Free Masons will meet Thursday (11/21/19) at 7:00 p.m.

BAKE SALE (11/22/19)
The CHI St. Vincent Morrilton Auxiliary will hold its Thanksgiving bake sale on Friday (11/22/19) from 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the hospital dining room. Proceeds will support the ongoing exterior improvement project at the hospital.

RIALTO CHRISTMAS PLAY (11/22/19-11/24/19)
The Rialto Theatre in downtown Morrilton presents its Christmas play, North Pole's Got Talent, on Friday (11/22/19) and Saturday (11/23/19 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday (11/24/19) at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and can be purchased online at www.rialtomorrilton.com.​


DOWNTOWN OPEN HOUSE (11/24/19)
Morrilton's annual Downtown Christmas Open House will take place Sunday (11/24/19) from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Most downtown merchants will be open during this time with special deals and promotions to kick off the holiday shopping season.

MOUNTAIN RENDEZVOUS (11/29/19-12/1/19)
Petit Jean State Park will host its 22nd Annual Mountain Rendezvous Friday (11/29/19) through Sunday (12/1/19). The event features re-enactors portraying life in the 1830s, and you'll get to see how a muzzleloader works, take a look inside a trade tent, discover how gunpowder is made, and touch wild animal furs, along with other activities and events.  Activities are free and will be open to the public Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00-3:00.

CHRISTMAS PARADE (12/5/19)
Conway County's annual Christmas Parade will take place Thursday (12/5/19) at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Morrilton. The theme is "12 Days of Christmas." The deadline to enter a float is Wednesday (12/4/19) at 5:00 p.m. Applications are available at the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce. Following the parade, the Morrilton Parks and Recreation Department will host a free showing of a Christmas movie, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church. The movie will start at 6:45 p.m. at the Morrilton Community Center. Free cookies and hot chocolate will be available, and other concessions will be sold.
