The Plumerville Church of Christ invites all children to Bible School every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday nights at 7:00. The church also invites all women to its Ladies' Bible class every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Better Life Ministries Church Community Outreach and Food Pantry at #6 Senior Adult Lane in Menifee on Saturday (5/25/19) at 1:00 p.m.

LADIES DAY (5/25/19)
The Plumerville Church of Christ will host "A Trip Around the World for Jesus" Ladies' Day on Saturday (5/25/19) at 1:00 p.m. Mother and daughters Vickie, Andrea and Katie Libby will speak about their missionary work with ladies and children in Ghana. There will also be an activity with Yolanda Greenway. All women are invited.

The annual Petit Jean Mountain Homecoming will be held Sunday (5/26/19). The event will begin with a cemetery visit from 9:00-11:30 a.m. with a scavenger hunt for kids included. A potluck lunch will be served in the dining hall at 11:30, followed by the annual meeting of the Cemetery Association.

THE WIZARD OF OZ (5/26/19)
The Rialto Community Arts Center will present its spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, on  Friday (5/24/19) and Saturday (5/25/19) at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday (5/26/19) at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.rialtomorrilton.com or at the door. ​

The Conway County Courthouse will be closed Monday (5/27/19) for Memorial Day.

Perry County's annual Memorail Day celebration scheduled for Monday (5/27/19) has been cancelled due to possible flooding.

Thursday (5/30/19) is the deadline for producer to report prevented planting acreage of grain sorghum to the Farm Service Agency. For more information, call the Conway/Faulkner/Perry County FSA office in Morrilton at 354-2000.

The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for the grand re-opening of Walmart in Morrilton on Friday (5/31/19) at 8:00 a.m.

Kilgore Cemetery will hold a benefit dinner and bake sale on Friday (5/31/19) from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the cemetery pavilion in Birdtown. Meals consisting of a hamburger, hot dog, chips and a drink will be sold for $6.

SACRED HEART BAZAAR (5/31/19-6/1/19)
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Morrilton will hold its annual bazaar on Friday (5/31/19) and Saturday (6/1/19) on the school parking lot. There will be various games for all ages, bounce houses, concessions and a silent auction both nights. An all-you-can-eat spaghetti and sausage and turkey and dressing dinner will be served Saturday (6/1/19) from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the school gym. Carryout dinners will be available from 4:30-7:00. There will also be a drawing for a 2019 Dodge Journey and other prizes on Saturday night.

YARD SALE (6/1/19)
A benefit yard sale will take place Saturday (6/1/19) from 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Partners for Progress in Perryville.

The Conway County Library will hold the kickoff for its summer reading program on Saturday (6/1/19) at 10:30 a.m. at the library.

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1590 will hold its Third Annual Fritz Norwine Fly-In and Swap Meet on Saturday (6/1/19) at the Morrilton Municipal Airport. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. The special guest will be Navy Ace Duke Cunningham. All buyers and sellers are welcome at the swap meet. An all-you-can-eat lunch of hamburgers, chili dogs and chips will be sold for $10. For more information, call Dan Davis at 501-472-1197. 

The Remnants of Rock will have a show and dance honoring the Morrilton High School Class of 1969 on Saturday (6/1/19) at 8:00 p.m. at the Rialto Theatre in downtown Morrilton. Admission is $15 and advance tickets are available at www.rialtomorrilton.com or at the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The South Conway County School District's summer feeding program will start Monday (6/3/19). Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and lunch at 11:00 a.m. every Monday through Thursday through July 25th. The free meals will be served at the Morrilton High School cafeteria and are available to all children age 18 and younger.

BASKETBALL CAMP (6/3/19-6/5/19)
The Morrilton High School boys' basketball team will host the 2019 Devil Dog Basketball Camp Monday (6/3/19) through Wednesday (6/5/19) from 8:30-11:30 a.m. each day at Devil Dog Arena. The camp is open to all boys who will be entering grades 2-7 in the 2019-20 school year. Registration is $30. Forms are available at the Morrilton Junior High office or call Coach Keith Zackery at 870-390-6333.

BLOOD DRIVE (6/3/19)
The Morrilton Knights of Columbus will sponsor an Arkansas Blood Institute blood drive on Monday (6/3/19) from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Morrilton Community Center.
